Lucknow, India — May 10 2026: The Rashtriya Khel Ratna Samman 2026 was successfully organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Mars Auditorium, Lucknow, honoring 70 Divyang and Paralympic athletes from across India for their extraordinary courage, discipline, achievements, and contribution to sports and society.
Organized by Brainfra IAS with the support of Swarna Bharat Pariwaar Trust and Global Education Forum, the ceremony stood as a powerful celebration of inclusion, dignity, national pride, and social empowerment.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Satendra Kushwaha, Founder of TV 24 Network, along with distinguished dignitaries including MLC Avnish Singh Patel, Brainfra IAS Founder Dr. Atul Shakya, social activist and businessman Abhishek Mishra, and several respected educationists, trustees, social workers, and community leaders.
Representing the core leadership of Swarna Bharat Pariwaar Trust, Dr. Amita Sethi and Shashi Gautam were specially present and applauded the athletes for their inspirational journeys. The organizers also acknowledged the dedicated coordination of Mr. Jitendra Giri and Mr. Vineet Tripathi, whose efforts helped make the event successful and memorable.
A deeply emotional moment came when Dr. Virginia Rivera from the United States, Board Director for the Global Division of Swarna Bharat Pariwaar, joined the programme virtually. In her heartfelt message, she congratulated the athletes, praised their determination, and announced her upcoming visit to India to personally meet and support them through initiatives focused on encouragement, growth, and international exposure.
Dr. Shruti Kulkarni, SBP Director from Maharashtra, also extended her warm wishes to the athletes, recognizing their discipline, resilience, and powerful example to the nation.
Addressing the gathering, Adv. Peeyush Pandit, President of Swarna Bharat Pariwaar Trust, said:
“You have proved that real strength lies in courage and determination. Your journey inspires not only India but the entire world. We honour our Divyang athletes with the same pride and respect as our brave soldiers.”
He further emphasized that the Swarna Bharat Pariwaar Trust Divyang Welfare Board remains committed to the welfare, education, recognition, encouragement, and empowerment of Divyang individuals through continued social initiatives and support programs.
The audience was visibly moved when Adv. Peeyush Pandit personally interacted with the athletes and took selfies with them on stage, creating an atmosphere filled with pride, warmth, and celebration.
During the ceremony, 70 Divyang and Paralympic athletes received the prestigious Rashtriya Khel Ratna Samman 2026. Each certificate carried a motivational message honoring their indomitable spirit, self-confidence, struggle, and contribution to the nation through sports.
The event concluded with thunderous applause and heartfelt appreciation from guests, educators, social leaders, volunteers, and participants. The successful hosting by Team SBP reflected Swarna Bharat Pariwaar’s continued commitment to building an inclusive, respectful, and empowered society for Divyang talents.
