Founded in the United Kingdom, Ishkama Global Change (IGC) is an internationally operating charitable organisation focused on equity, diversity, inclusion, leadership and social impact. With a network of 250 global chapters, IGC continues to bring together people and organisations from diverse backgrounds with a shared purpose of creating positive and sustainable change.
The 2026 Convention reflected this philosophy by creating an environment where business opportunities, international partnerships and social responsibility came together on one platform.

The continued growth and international outreach of IGC have been guided by its Founder and Chairperson, Prof. Amb. Dr. Abhnash K. Bains, whose leadership has focused on empowering individuals, developing confident leaders and encouraging people to use their knowledge, success and influence for the benefit of society.
Her vision is rooted in the belief that collective progress becomes possible when people walk together, support one another and give back to their communities.

The successful execution of the 2026 Convention was supported by a dedicated leadership and organising team.
Key contributors included IGC Vice CEO Amb. Dr. Minakshi Koch, Dr. Neha Swami and Ibrahim, along with executive team members Dr. Lipika Sharma, Dr. Poonam Sharma, Shruti Agarwalla, Dr. Sanchita Gairola, Dr. Sanya Sharma, Dr. Honey Sharma and Dr. Prachi Beriwala.
Their commitment, coordination and professionalism played an important role in bringing together an international gathering centred on business, leadership, social impact and global partnerships.
Social Impact at the Heart of IGC
One of the defining aspects of the Convention was its strong focus on social responsibility.
IGC extended its support to organisations including Chhanv Foundation, which works towards empowering acid-attack survivors, and Surwee, which focuses on women’s empowerment, child development, skill development and community welfare.
In recognition of their contribution to society, the organisations were provided with awards, complimentary exhibition stalls and speaking opportunities, giving them an international platform to present their work, share their journeys and connect with potential supporters and partners.
IGC’s social-impact efforts have also extended to humanitarian support for communities affected by the devastating floods in Assam. An active group of IGC Chairs, led by Liza Hazarika and Padmini Koch, has been working to mobilise assistance and support for affected communities.
These initiatives reinforce IGC’s belief that leadership is not only about achievement—it is about responsibility, compassion and service.

Among the prominent attendees were Rajyogini BK Dr. Binny Sareen, Dr. Markandev Rai, Dr. Sandeep Mehta, Dr. Rajat Srivastava and Adv. Peeyush Pandit.
The Convention also featured speakers including Shaik Mohammed Tajuddin Aref, Dr. Franca Borgia, Dr. Angela Soong, Dr. Virginia Rivera and Dr. Roop Sidana, among several other respected international voices.
Their participation enriched discussions around leadership, entrepreneurship, business, innovation, investment, social development and international cooperation.
