On the occasion of Malala Day, Adv. Peeyush Pandit, Founder & Chairman of Peeyush Group, Founder Trustee of Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust (SBP) and Founder of E Village – World’s First Smart Metro Village, paid tribute to Malala Yousafzai and to teachers, parents, social workers and young leaders across the world who continue to champion the right of every child to receive quality education.
Adv. Peeyush Pandit stated that education is not a privilege but the foundation of freedom, equality, justice and sustainable development. He emphasized that no nation can achieve true progress unless every child, irrespective of gender, religion, caste, language, geography or economic background, has access to safe, inclusive and quality education.
Referring to the Constitution of India, he highlighted that the Preamble upholds the ideals of Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, while Article 21A guarantees the Right to Education for children. He noted that these constitutional principles serve as a guiding force in building an India where every child can learn with dignity and every girl has the opportunity to fulfil her aspirations.
He further stated that Peeyush Group, Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust (SBP) and E Village – World’s First Smart Metro Village remain committed to advancing quality education, digital literacy, skill development, women’s empowerment, environmental responsibility and innovation-driven community development. According to him, investing in girls’ education and youth empowerment is among the most effective ways to build prosperous, peaceful and inclusive societies.
Highlighting global concerns, Adv. Peeyush Pandit observed that poverty, conflict, child labour, inequality, climate change and the digital divide continue to deprive millions of children of educational opportunities. He stressed that these challenges require coordinated efforts from governments, educational institutions, civil society, businesses, international organisations and responsible citizens.
On the occasion of Malala Day, he called upon global leaders, policymakers, educators and young people to strengthen educational opportunities for every child and ensure that no one is left behind because of gender, poverty, disability or geographical location.
Concluding his message, Adv. Peeyush Pandit said, “Education builds character, empowers societies, strengthens democracy and creates lasting peace. When we educate a girl, we empower a family; when we educate every child, we build a stronger India and a better world.”
He concluded with the message “Jai Hind” and reiterated the timeless Indian philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family,” calling for global unity through education, compassion and shared responsibility.
