15 July 2026: In a remarkable celebration of World Youth Skills Day 2026, the International Internship University (IIU), in collaboration with World Education Policy (WEP), successfully hosted a prestigious international virtual conclave under the global theme “Skills for a Shared Future.” The event brought together an exceptional assembly of internationally acclaimed diplomats, educationists, United Nations representatives, policymakers, entrepreneurs, innovators, mentors, peace ambassadors, and youth leaders from across the globe, creating an inspiring platform dedicated to advancing future-ready education, global collaboration, innovation, and youth empowerment.
The distinguished programme commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Virginia Rivera, Chief Executive Officer of International Internship University and President of World Education Policy. This was followed by the Founder’s Address delivered by Adv. Peeyush Pandit, Founder of International Internship University and World Education Policy. The inaugural session was further enriched by an inspiring address from Prof. Dr. Charles U. Ebhoria, Vice Chancellor of International Internship University, who highlighted the transformative role of education in preparing future generations to lead confidently in an increasingly interconnected and rapidly evolving world.
Delivering the Founder’s Address, Adv. Peeyush Pandit emphasized that skills have become the true currency of the future. He stated,
“Education must go beyond classrooms and inspire innovation, critical thinking, leadership, and global responsibility. Every young mind possesses limitless potential, and it is our collective responsibility to provide meaningful opportunities, quality mentorship, and international exposure that empower them to become architects of a more inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous world.”
Ms. Deepshikha Pathak, Director – Human Resources, highlighted the growing importance of future-ready talent in today’s dynamic global workplace. She remarked,
“The workforce of tomorrow will be defined not merely by qualifications but by adaptability, emotional intelligence, collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. By nurturing these essential competencies, we are empowering young professionals to confidently embrace global opportunities, lead with integrity, and create meaningful impact wherever they go.”
