As India proudly prepares to celebrate its 80th Independence Day on 15 August 2026, Swarna Bharat Parivaar (SBP) Global Trust is all set to host a special international virtual celebration dedicated to the spirit of freedom, achievement, global partnership and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The highlight of the celebration will be the Viksit Bharat Excellence Awards 2026, through which 80 remarkable individuals from India and around the world will be honoured for their outstanding contributions to India’s development journey.
The number 80 has been thoughtfully chosen to represent India’s 80 years of Independence. The awardees include inspiring entrepreneurs, educators, innovators, social leaders, professionals, young achievers, institutions and changemakers whose work is creating meaningful impact in society and contributing towards a stronger, self-reliant and developed India.
Adding a truly global dimension to the celebration, 11 distinguished international guest speakers from different countries will join the programme and share their messages, experiences and perspectives on India’s growth, global cooperation, youth leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, peace and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The programme will be held virtually through Zoom on 15 August 2026 at 7:00 PM IST, enabling participants from India and across the world to come together in one digital celebration.
