India May 26, 2026: International Internship University (IIU) is experiencing one of the most significant growth periods in its six-year history, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s fastest-growing global online educational platforms.

The institution’s Executive Global Leadership reflects the diversity, innovation, and international collaboration shaping modern education today.
Founded in 2020 by visionary educational leader Adv. Peeyush Pandit, IIU was created with the mission of making education more accessible, globally connected, and aligned with emerging workforce needs. Soon after its founding, Dr. Roshni Lal joined as Resident Trustee at the physical campus in Australia, helping strengthen the university’s institutional and international development.

In 2023, Dr. Virginia Rivera from Puerto Rico, USA, joined IIU’s international leadership efforts, helping amplify global opportunities, educational collaborations, and international visibility across multiple continents. Today, Dr. Virginia Rivera serves as CEO of IIU, playing a central role in the institution’s global expansion, international partnerships, executive leadership development, and strategic worldwide positioning. Her leadership has contributed significantly to strengthening IIU’s presence as one of the largest and most accessible global online educational platforms.
Providing academic and operational leadership for the institution is Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Charles Ebhoria from Nigeria, whose guidance continues to support the university’s rapidly expanding international structure and multicultural academic environment.

Earlier this month, IIU announced the appointment of Dr. Layal Ghaddar from Lebanon as Head of All IIU Councils, overseeing the Women Entrepreneurs Council, Youth Development Council, IIU Student Council, and Educators Council. The appointment represents a strategic step in strengthening IIU’s global governance and leadership coordination.
IIU also recently welcomed Amb. Dr. Mehreen Mia from South Africa as President of the Women’s Entrepreneurs Council (WEC), further strengthening the university’s commitment to women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and global economic empowerment initiatives.

In another major announcement, former IIU Youth Development & Student Council (YDSC) President Maha Shaddeh has officially been appointed Executive Director – Global Affairs & International Relations. In her new role, she will lead international collaborations, strategic partnerships, diplomatic engagement, and global institutional coordination.
Following this transition, Sara Lodewijk has been appointed as the new Chair of the IIU Youth Development & Student Council (YDSC), continuing the university’s commitment to youth leadership and international student engagement.
These leadership appointments represent more than organizational growth. They reflect IIU’s continued commitment to building an educational institution that is globally connected, future-ready, and designed to prepare leaders for a new era of work, innovation, and international collaboration.
As education continues evolving worldwide, IIU remains committed to its mission of delivering real education for a new workforce while empowering learners, educators, entrepreneurs, and leaders across borders.
The future of education is global — and IIU continues to help lead the way.
